As a photographer, I am very fortunate to travel to far away destinations for my client’s weddings and celebrations. Having the opportunity to combine my love of travel and photography is something that I am truly grateful for and never take for granted. It’s been many years since I last visited Taipei so I did some research of locations for our outdoor portraits. The Lin Family Garden and Mansion was even more spectacular in person then online and made for the perfect backdrop for our shoot. As soon as I set foot on the grounds, I immediately felt transformed to ancient China.
The reception that followed was nothing but a first class affair at the Mandarin Oriental Taipei. The flowers, lighting, and decor made for a glamorous celebration. Our lovely bride Samantha had three stunning outfit changes and she definitely looked that the queen that she deserved to be on her wedding day. Cheers to Samantha and Chris on a magnificent day!
It’s wonderful to look back on these wedding photos and to see this truly amazing transformation that Jubilee Lau Events did to the City View at Metreon. Jubilee’s team and talented vendors took a completely empty space and created an utterly magical setting for Cindy and Andrew’s wedding. On one hand they had an empty canvass to work with and could create anything. On the other hand, they had an empty space and they DID create everything, which was an amazing feat! Congrats to Cindy and Andrew on a wonderful wedding!

It was windy and bone chilling cold but my brave couple endured the elements long enough to get some beautiful engagement photos. The Palace of Fine Arts has a nicely weathered look and provided the perfect backdrop for Bern and Rhup’s engagement session!
I’m privileged to share this editorial photo shoot for Crystal Jade restaurant. So fortunate to work with such a talented group of vendors to make everything look so beautiful! The inside lobby of the restaurant is a stunning, old world Chinese inspired motif contrasted with their scenic outdoor terrace over looking the Embarcadero and Ferry Building.
