On a recent stay at the St Regis Punta Mita, we had the opportunity to style and photograph a dinner party for the St Regis. The staff was so helpful and gave us to access to everything that we needed. They provided the dinnerware, lines, and all the decor. They even went out and cut fresh flowers from their property for our table design. As you can see, the talented wifey, Nancy Liu Chin styled everything perfectly for the camera. But first, a guacamole making class offered by the the St Regis. It doesn’t get any fresher then this!
We were fortunate to catch the tail end of cherry blossom season this spring in Golden Gate Park for Jo & Bryan’s engagement session. I never tire of these beautiful blooms! It’s too bad they only make their appearance just once a year. Jo & Bryan are such a fun loving couple and I love how they interact with each other. Their playfulness really shows in the photos. I can’t wait for their wedding later this year!
As a photographer, I always strive to stay creative and fresh. I was very excited to hear that Crystal and Greg were having their wedding reception at Trou Normand, a non-typical wedding venue. I was fortunate that my couple gave me complete artistic freedom to shoot whatever I wanted to shoot. I took this as an opportunity to photograph this reception in a very editorial style, something you would see in Travel + Leisure or Kinfolk. It was such a sweet and beautiful celebration of close family and friends coming together to share in each other’s company with delicious food and fine wine. Everything was made beautiful with the styling and flowers by the talented Nancy Liu Chin.
