As a photographer, I am very fortunate to travel to far away destinations for my client’s weddings and celebrations. Having the opportunity to combine my love of travel and photography is something that I am truly grateful for and never take for granted. It’s been many years since I last visited Taipei so I did some research of locations for our outdoor portraits. The Lin Family Garden and Mansion was even more spectacular in person then online and made for the perfect backdrop for our shoot. As soon as I set foot on the grounds, I immediately felt transformed to ancient China.
The reception that followed was nothing but a first class affair at the Mandarin Oriental Taipei. The flowers, lighting, and decor made for a glamorous celebration. Our lovely bride Samantha had three stunning outfit changes and she definitely looked that the queen that she deserved to be on her wedding day. Cheers to Samantha and Chris on a magnificent day!
I’ve been excited to share this editorial shoot at the Ritz Carlton in Montreal. It’s a wonderful thing when you can combine our love for travel and weddings and come up with this glamorous editorial shoot at a far away destination. Nancy Liu Chin Designs and Bella Notte Events, and I packed our bags, and headed for Montreal. We were so fortunate to find and work with so many talented local Montreal designers. See what we all created here.
On a recent stay at the St Regis Punta Mita, we had the opportunity to style and photograph a dinner party for the St Regis. The staff was so helpful and gave us to access to everything that we needed. They provided the dinnerware, lines, and all the decor. They even went out and cut fresh flowers from their property for our table design. As you can see, the talented wifey, Nancy Liu Chin styled everything perfectly for the camera.
